2012 sees the launch of our new creative programme
and we will be exploring:
• Creative writing and poetry
• Storytelling & making
• Site specific drama & dance & music
• Environmental art
Taking inspiration from the stunning location
of the Husbandry School we have range of very exciting projects
on offer over the next 12 months. Our programme begins with
Creative Sundays with Sara Hurley and Poetry with Lucy Lepchani.
Creative
Sundays
with Sara Hurley
A lively monthly workshop that follows the changing seasons with
traditional storytelling and participatory story making activities
for all the family. Stories are part of the land, part of our
human conversation with places and animals. Creative Sunday is
an inspiring way to discover the Husbandry School’s rich
resources, to find and create stories, poems images and things.
Sara invites you to enter the world of stories through listening
and exploration in a wonderful natural environment.
A Place
in the Landcape and
Elements and Boundaries
with Lucy Lepchani
Write in response to the land and landscape around this stunning venue, and to
your own senses and identity.
As human culture has shaped the landscape over
millennia and to this present day, so it has shaped our lifestyles,
our societies, our psyches. Immersed in the vastness and the
detail of nature at this burgeoning time of year, how does
it shape our poetry or prose?
